For the last month we have been studying a unit called Roller Coasters in which students study the basic princiles of physics through roller coaster investigations. At the end of the unit the students are required to build a roller coaster track out of house hold items that can accomidate a marble as the car. Here are some photos of the students working on the fun project.

Newton's Third law lab

We have been studying Newton's laws and did a fun lab on his Third Law- Action and Reaction-. I this lab the students had to take a roller skate, attach a doll, then have it hit a book and record what happened to the doll. They then attached a belt to the doll and the skate and repeated the experiment. This is just one of the many CRAZY labs I seem to come up with. They all enjoyed it.
